Meet Frank and His Family

Picture
Frank Allgood is a dedicated public servant, trusted voice on Mauldin City Council, and champion for thoughtful growth and community well-being. Now completing his fourth year in office, Frank brings both proven leadership and hometown heart to the work of building a better Mauldin.

Since joining Council, Frank has helped drive major initiatives – advancing transformative projects like City Center and BridgeWay Station, with a new stadium on the horizon for 2026. During his tenure as chair of the Recreation Committee, there have been improvements to the Mauldin Senior Center, extensions of the trail system, and boosted participation at the Mauldin Sports Center and across youth athletics. Frank has also championed long-term investments in stormwater research and infrastructure, ensuring smarter growth and safer neighborhoods.

With more than 20 years of experience at the intersection of strategic planning, brand development, and leadership training, Frank has built a career across media, marketing, financial services, athletics, and governance. He is Vice President of Brand Strategy at Your Marketing Co., partnering with credit unions nationwide to improve the quality of life of the communities they serve.

Born and raised in Mauldin, Frank and his wife Jeneane (both Mauldin High School graduates) are proud parents to Thomas, a college junior, and Penelope, a senior at Mauldin High. Frank remains an active community volunteer, serving as athletic director and head basketball coach at St. Mary Magdalene Church, officiating with SAIL (Swim Association Invitational League) and District I South Carolina High School League Basketball, and supporting local school programs in marchingband and colorguard.

From shaping long-term vision at City Hall to walking the trails of Conestee with the family dog Charlie, Frank leads with purpose, transparency, and people-first values.
